We may not have been the team with the most members in attendance this past Sunday and we may not have raised the most moolah for the cause but we were the Walk-wide leader in sporting the coolest t-shirts. And we had the cutest baby there, by far.
The most majorist of props to my lifelong friends Traci and John for spearheading the effort and outfitting the team. Thank you to JP Rocks! team members John P, Judy P, Fehmeen P, Emma P, Mike B, Nancy B, Su L, Diane G, Leanne C, Dee B, Nummers, and the Hen for joining us out on the trail. And thank you to Marci S for choosing to walk at home with the flu.
Hi Jason,
Thanks for letting me a part of the walk…well actually ‘meander’ on Sunday. We definitely were the ‘coolest’ looking team with our JP Rocks t-shirts. I think we all were made to look better by our team leaders…Emma the ‘dancing girl’, and you in your straw fedora! You looked like you should have been sitting on the porch of a tobacco plantation in South America somewhere. Some of the kids in my class wanted to know how they could get
your team shirt that now hangs in my classroom…see even the kids think they’re awesome! Can’t wait for next years walk…thanks again…
Diane
Thanks, Jas! It was great to see you & the fam, and a pleasure to meet all the new team members. We totally rocked the Walk, and we look forward to doing it again next year!
Jason,
I had a wonderful time on the walk. Good friends, good company and good-looking t-shirts. I can’t wait to do it a third time. Count me “on the team” for next year!
Leanne
Dear Mr. Picceti,
Your story is very inspiring. Im glad to see you out and about, being active in your life. You were one of the coolest teachers ive ever had, you made math class fun for me. You could speak to us on our level that we would understand. I loved your jokes and good sence of humor, plus you could think of ways to make math interesting, your math class was definetly not your average boring math class. I hope everything is going well for you and your family and your beautiful little girl. Stay optimistic, the future is bright!
Sincerely,
Jaroslav Kharitonov
